Ruth Greenwood

Ruth Greenwood is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in the arts sector. Currently serving as the Director of Communications at the National Theatre since April 2017, Ruth has also held various roles within the organization, including Head of Press, Interim Head of Press, and Deputy Head of Press. Prior to this, Ruth was the Partnership Communications Manager at the Foundation for FutureLondon and worked at the Royal Opera House, where roles included Communications Manager and Opera Press and Communications Officer. Ruth's career began at the Welsh National Opera as a Press Officer, following an earlier position as Media and PR Assistant at Northern Ballet. Ruth holds a BA Hons in English Language and Literature from the University of Liverpool, completed in 2006.
