David Stokes has a background in corporate finance, with experience in both the public and private sectors. David worked as a Corporate Finance Director for NewERA at the National Treasury Management Agency from 2012 onwards, where they provided financial and commercial advice to Government Ministers regarding major commercial State bodies. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Director at Goodbody Corporate Finance from 2005 to 2012.
David Stokes started their education in 2000 at University College Cork, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance in 2004. David then pursued further education at University College Dublin from 2004 to 2005, earning a Master of Business Studies degree with a specialization in Finance. Later, from 2010 to 2012, they enrolled at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, where they completed the ACCA program.
