Swati Thapa

Swati Thapa serves on the Governing Board of Trustees for the National Trust for Nature Conservation since January 2018, focusing on the development and implementation of policies related to nature conservation in Nepal. In addition, Swati holds the position of Executive Director and Board Member at the Lumbini Center for Sustainability/Pratiman-Neema Memorial Foundation, advancing various projects in environmental monitoring, disaster risk management, and health outreach. Swati has served as Vice President of the International Alumni Board at IHS, Erasmus University Rotterdam, from January 2021 to January 2023 and worked as an External Consultant for the Ministry of Labor and Employment in Nepal in 2016. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Urban Management and Development, a Master of Philosophy in Public Administration, a Master of Arts in Conflict, Peace, and Development Studies, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration.
