Rebecca Burton is a seasoned professional with extensive leadership experience in the heritage and cultural sectors. Since October 2012, Rebecca has served as the Regional Director for the South West at the National Trust, following a role as Assistant Director in the North. Prior experience includes Deputy Director at Bristol Museums, Galleries and Archives, where Rebecca was recognized as Bristol City Council Manager of the Year in 2009. Previous positions held include National Communications Manager at Creative Partnerships, Head of Cultural Events and Festivals at Bristol City Council, and various roles at The National Trust and the U.S. Forest Service. Rebecca holds an M.B.A. from the University of the West of England, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM, and a BSc (Hons) in Crop Technology and Natural Resource Management from the University of Bath, as well as a Prince2 certification in Project Management.
