Damon Wells

Damon Wells is a seasoned professional in government relations, currently serving as a Senior Policy Adviser at Hance Scarborough, LLP since January 2018. Previously, Wells has held significant roles such as Vice President of Government Affairs at the National Turkey Federation and Senior Professional Staff for the Senate Agriculture Committee, focusing on food safety, livestock, poultry, and conservation issues. Earlier experience includes working as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Chet Edwards, specializing in agriculture, water, transportation, energy, and natural resources, as well as serving as a Legislative Analyst for the Texas Office of State-Federal Relations. Academically, Damon Wells holds a Master of Science in Agriculture from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Sam Houston State University.
