Alvin Benjamin Owusu-Afriyie is currently serving as the Vice President-Italy for the National Union of Ghana Students, a democratic and progressive student movement. Prior to this role, Alvin has gained experience as a Student at Sapienza Università di Roma, an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in the Ghana Air Force, and a Public Relations Officer at KAAF University College. Additionally, Alvin Benjamin has interned at Kantanka Automobile Company, Gratis Foundation, and KENJOY VENTURES, gaining valuable skills in machine work, welding, and customer service. Alvin is currently pursuing a Masters in Transport Systems Engineering at Sapienza Università di Roma, following their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

The National Union of Ghana Students is the official student representative body of all students of Ghana at home and abroad, from the basic level to the postgraduate level. The Union has six blocs representing over 10 million students. Our foremost mandate is to protect the interest of Ghanaian students wherever and to engage stakeholders to promote accessible and quality education for everyone devoid of ethnic, social or religious considerations.
