Emma McDermott

Emma McDermott is a Senior Technical Officer at the National University of Ireland, Galway since July 2017. Previously, Emma was a PhD student at the University of Aberdeen from May 2014 to March 2018, contributing as an early stage researcher for the Euroclast consortium. Emma's early career at NUI Galway spanned roles as an Anatomy Demonstrator, Research Assistant, and Master's student, which included a thesis on induced pluripotent stem cells and studies on hormone receptor localization and hippocampal volume estimation in various contexts. Emma holds a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and a Master of Science in Regenerative Medicine from the University of Galway.
