Margaret Cooney

Margaret Cooney is currently pursuing a medical degree at the University of Galway as a mature entry medical student, with expected graduation in May 2028. Prior to this, Margaret accumulated extensive experience in clinical research and operations management, serving as the Director of Clinical Research and Operations Management at Regeneron from July 2014 to July 2023, and previously held similar director-level roles at Elan and JANSSEN Alzheimer Immunotherapy. Additional experience includes positions as Head of Clinical Operations at sanofi-aventis and Clinical Study Manager/Section Manager at Allergan. Margaret's earlier career involved project management in clinical operations at PPD and Edwards Lifesciences. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Pharmacology and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from University College Dublin.
