Atreyi Kankanhalli

Atreyi Kankanhalli holds a distinguished academic and professional background in information systems and electrical engineering. Currently serving as Provost's Chair Professor at the National University of Singapore since January 2020, Kankanhalli also fulfills the role of AIS Region 3 Vice President with the Association for Information Systems. A faculty member at the National University of Singapore since 2003, Kankanhalli has progressed through various academic positions, including Deputy Head (Research and Administration) and Assistant Dean at the School of Computing. Previous experience includes a Project Consultant position at the Indian Institute of Science and software engineering roles at the Institute of Systems Science and CDAC. Kankanhalli earned a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the National University of Singapore and holds a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, along with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
