Siyan Yi serves as an Assistant Professor and Director of the Integrated Research Programme at the National University of Singapore since June 2018, alongside roles as a Senior Research Fellow. Siyan Yi contributes to the academic community as an Academic Editor and Editor for the Public Library of Science (PLOS) since January 2015 and holds the position of Founding Director at the KHANA Center for Population Health Research. Additionally, Siyan Yi is an Adjunct Professor of Global Health at Touro University California since January 2014 and was an Associate Editor at BMC until June 2021. Past roles include Research Director at KHANA Cambodia, Research Fellow at the University of South Australia, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University, Research Consultant for URC & CHS, and Research Fellow at the National Center for Global Health and Medicine. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Community and Global Health and an MHSc in International Health from The University of Tokyo, along with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Health Sciences.
