Søren Riis

Søren Riis has a diverse work experience starting in 2003 as an Associate Partner at the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies. Søren then became an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Roskilde University in 2008, eventually taking on the role of Director of Studies in Philosophy and Science Studies in 2020. In 2005, Riis co-founded GoMore and in 2015 they founded UrbanWineBox. Søren has also served as an Investor and Advisor at Bjergegaard & Co. since 2022. Riis has held various board and council positions, including being a Board Member for Golden Days and a Member of Counsel for Sharing Economy at the Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs. Søren has also contributed to the Ministry of Transport, Building, and Housing as an Expert Board Member for the Future of Mobility.

Søren Riis obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Philosophy from The University of Freiburg between 2003 and 2007. Søren also studied Philosophy at the University of Tübingen from 1997 to 2001, although the degree obtained during that period is not specified.
