Katia Nyysti

Katia Nyysti has extensive experience in instructional design and community engagement within higher education. Currently serving as the Director of The Commons at Northcentral University since 2010, Katia champions strategic planning and enhances community experiences across various platforms. Previously, Katia held the position of Director of Instructional Design, ensuring curriculum alignment with university guidelines. Additional roles include adjunct faculty at Yavapai College, specializing in Nia instruction, and experience as an Educational Designer across multiple organizations. Katia's educational background includes a current Master of Arts in English Studies, an Associate of Arts in Visual Communications, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business.
