Melissa Cunningham

Melissa Cunningham, MPH, is an experienced public health professional with a focus on community health education and program coordination. Currently serving as a Part-Time Professor at National University since March 2017, Melissa teaches undergraduate courses in Health Education and Promotion and Healthcare Administration. Previous roles include Project Coordinator at Health Center Partners of Southern California and Prevention Specialist/Program Assistant at San Diego Youth Services, where Melissa implemented evidence-based sexual health curricula for youth. Additional experience encompasses work as a Behavior Therapist at Behavior Support Solutions, Graduate Assistant at California State University, Fullerton, and Nutrition Education Obesity Prevention-Certified Leader with the California Department of Public Health. Melissa holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science-Community Health from California State University, Fresno.
