Nicholas Yoder is a seasoned education and policy professional with extensive experience in supporting teacher evaluations, educator effectiveness, and social and emotional learning. Currently serving as Principal Policy and TA Consultant at the American Institutes for Research since August 2022, Nicholas previously held senior leadership roles at National University, including Sr. Director of Research and Professional Learning and Director of Strategic Initiatives. Nicholas's prior roles include Director of Policy and Practice at the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning and Senior Technical Assistant Consultant at the American Institutes for Research. With a strong foundation in education and psychology, Nicholas earned a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, where earlier academic credentials also include a Master's in Psychology and a Master's in Instructional Leadership.
