Tom Herthel

Tom Herthel is an experienced attorney and military veteran who has held various leadership roles in organizations such as the National Veterans Legal Services Program and the University of Richmond School of Law. As a Deputy Commissioner at the Virginia Department of Veterans Services, Tom was responsible for overseeing multiple service lines related to veteran benefits, cemeteries, and support programs. Additionally, Tom has a strong background in military law and intelligence, having served in the United States Air Force and US Army. Tom holds a Doctor of Law degree from Samford University and has also pursued additional education in military and veterans health policy and advocacy.
