Deanna Mascle

Site Director, Morehead Writing Project at National Writing Project

Deanna Mascle has extensive experience in writing education and program development, currently serving as the Site Director for the Morehead Writing Project at the National Writing Project since June 2008, where responsibilities include grant writing and professional development program design. Simultaneously, Deanna has been a Writing Instructor at Morehead State University since August 2001, teaching various writing courses and serving as the College Readiness Coordinator to support underprepared students. Previous positions include an Instructor of English at Eastern Kentucky University and an English teacher at Ansonia High School. Deanna's academic credentials include a Doctorate in Technical Communication and Rhetoric from Texas Tech University, as well as multiple Master's degrees in English and Education from Eastern Kentucky University and the University of Bridgeport, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in English from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
