Roberta Price Gardner, Ph.D., currently serves as an Associate Professor at Kennesaw State University since 2018 and has been a Teacher Consultant for the National Writing Project since 2010, providing literacy consultation to school districts. Previous academic positions include Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgia State University from August 2016 to August 2018, Assistant Professor at the University of Mary Washington from November 2013 to May 2015, and Research Assistant for the Archway Community Partnership at the University of Georgia from May 2012 to July 2013. Early in the career, Roberta served as an Instructor at the University of Georgia from 2010 to 2012 and as an Early Learning Librarian at The Galloway School from 2002 to 2009. Roberta holds a Ph.D. in Language and Literacy Education from The University of Georgia, a Master of Library Science from Clark Atlanta University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
