Caleb Sher

Caleb Sher is an accomplished Bibliography Fellow at the National Yiddish Book Center, where responsibilities include managing a vast collection of Yiddish books and supporting various projects in digital collections and oral histories. Previous experience encompasses working as a Research Assistant at Ottawa Public Health, where research focused on community engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic, and serving as a Student Assistant for the Humanities for Young People Program at the University of King's College, supporting fundraising and administrative tasks. Additional roles include guiding tours for Halifax Free Walking Tours, working as Operations Manager for the Dalhousie Student Union's Farmer's Market, and holding a Front Desk Receptionist position in a Residence Hall. Caleb's educational background includes a Master's in Information and a Master's in Comparative Literature from the University of Toronto, along with a Bachelor's in Contemporary Studies and Classics from the University of King's College, and studies in Mathematics and Science at Dalhousie University. Academic achievements began with a high school diploma in Visual Arts from Canterbury High School.
