Druann Whitaker

Druann Whitaker has extensive experience in leadership roles within the nonprofit sector, currently serving as the National Director of La Jornada at the National Youth Advocate Program since 2016, where efforts focus on providing homes for vulnerable children from communities affected by poverty and violence. Prior to this, Druann was the Chief Strategy Officer and Corporate Vice President, collaborating closely with the CEO to align initiatives with the organization's mission and oversee the strategic planning process. Druann's previous positions include Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at OhioGuidestone, where oversight of the strategic planning process and organizational culture was a key responsibility, and Chief Executive Officer at SAFY of America, where a range of leadership roles were held over 27 years. Druann holds a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Dayton, a Bachelor of Science in Social Welfare from The Ohio State University, and a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Case Western Reserve University.
