Chief Program Excellence And Advancement Officer at National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP)

Emily Lindley has held various roles in their work experience. Emily started their career at Institute for Family Centered Services, where they worked as a Regional Training Specialist from December 2010 to September 2013. Emily then became an Indiana State Trainer from September 2013 to December 2015.

In 2016, Lindley joined the National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) as a Training Manager. Emily held this position until September 2017 when they were promoted to Director of Education and Professional Development. Emily remained in this role until January 2021 when they further advanced to Senior Director of Program Excellence.

Currently, Lindley is serving as the Chief Program Excellence and Advancement Officer at NYAP, a position they have held since January 2024.

Emily Lindley completed their education as follows:

- From 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.

- Between 2006 and 2009, they attended Argosy University Washington, DC, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Forensic Psychology.

- From 2001 to 2005, they studied Psychology and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Additionally, Emily Lindley has obtained several certifications, including:

- Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies in 2019.

- Completion of Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) Phase 2 from the Child Trauma Academy in 2019.

- Credentialed Sexually Abusive Youth Clinician (CSAYC) from IN-AJSOP in November 2018.

- Completion of Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) Phase 1 from the Child Trauma Academy in February 2016.

- Sex Offender Treatment Specialist- In Service certified by the National Association of Forensic Counselors in 2016.

- Family Centered Treatment Supervision from the Family Centered Treatment Foundation, Inc in August 2015.

- Family Centered Treatment certified by the Family Centered Treatment Foundation, Inc in 2011.
