Kristen Diaz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic engagement, advocacy, and program improvement within the nonprofit sector. Serving as the Senior Manager of Strategic Engagement at the National Youth Advocate Program since September 2019, Kristen focuses on shaping organizational strategy and ensuring compliance, while also supporting research and analysis for project proposals. Previously, Kristen held the roles of Manager of Continuous Quality Improvement and Manager of Growth, Development and Integration, contributing to organizational expansion and quality enhancement. Prior to NYAP, Kristen worked as a Case Manager at Heartland Alliance, a Special Education Paraprofessional at West Aurora School District, and in various support roles in educational and administrative capacities. Kristen holds a Master of Public Policy in Human Rights Advocacy from Adler University, a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Aurora University, and an Associate's degree in Psychology from Waubonsee Community College.
