Merijn Huiskes

Merijn Huiskes is currently a Data Scientist at Nationale-Nederlanden, having started in October 2024. Prior to this role, Merijn served as a Data Scientist and Data Analyst at bunq from June 2022 to October 2024, where responsibilities included managing data tasks within the Transaction Monitoring improvement team, assessing alerts from the Anti-Money Laundering system, and overseeing fraud reports. Earlier experience includes a leadership position as Teamleider at Jumbo Supermarkten from October 2021 to June 2022. Merijn is pursuing a Master of Science in Econometrics and Data Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, expected to be completed in July 2025, following a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution from 2021 to 2024.
