Patrick Amsellem

Patrick Amsellem has extensive experience in museum leadership and curatorship, currently serving as the Director General at Nationalmuseum in Sweden since January 2024. Previously, Patrick held the position of Director at Public Art Agency Sweden from October 2020 to January 2024 and was the Museum Director and Chief Curator at Skissernas Museum from December 2011 to October 2020. Patrick also contributed to the Brooklyn Museum as Associate Curator from March 2007 to December 2011. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Arts (MA) from The Institute of Fine Arts, NYU, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Lund University.
