Erika Avellaneda Celis

Erika Avellaneda Celis has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Erika started their career at LEC Environmental as an Environmental Technician in March 2012, where they worked until May 2022. In 2013, they joined NationBuilder as a NationBuilder Expert, and later became a Senior Engagement Manager in January 2022. At NationBuilder, they helped non-profit organizations migrate to the platform and ensured their strategic plans were aligned with the database setup. Erika also worked as a Senior Account Manager - Community Organiser at NationBuilder from January 2018 to May 2022.

In 2014, Erika volunteered at Sprout Tasmania, where they utilized their community organizing and technology expertise to help set up an online farmers market connecting local producers with buyers. Erika then joined Environment Tasmania Inc as a Community Engagement Officer, focusing on marine conservation issues through event organization, volunteer coordination, and online communications.

Since 2013, Erika has been associated with the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF). Erika served as a Council Member from September 2013 to May 2022 and as a Board Member from November 2015 to July 2022.
