Matt Widdicombe

Matt Widdicombe is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the mortgage and corporate finance sectors. Currently serving as a Loan Officer at Nations Lending since November 2023, Widdicombe previously held the same position at Guild Mortgage Company from June 2021 to October 2023, where the individual also served as an Originating Loan Officer Assistant and Transaction Coordinator. Prior to this, Widdicombe contributed to Discovery Inc as a Senior Financial Analyst in Corporate FP&A, focusing on post-merger integration and corporate incentive compensation planning, and held various financial analyst roles within international and corporate finance divisions. Widdicombe's career began at Discovery Communications as a Finance Intern, after which experience was gained at Office Depot in diverse customer service roles. A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Banking was obtained from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
