Andy Calvert

Andy Calvert serves as the Head of Technology Strategy for Digital Innovation at Nationwide Building Society since December 2018, where responsibilities include leading the development of Home Propositions, a division focused on rental sector solutions within a startup-like environment. Previously, Andy held the position of Chief Technology Officer at ems.ai, directing the creation of an MVP platform for home rentals in London, and served as interim CTO at UD Group, where contributions included improving cloud infrastructure and Agile workflows. Andy co-founded Cloud Affinity and FuseMail Europe, excelling in product management and achieving significant company growth and high customer retention rates. Earlier experiences include roles as Technical Director at Red Networks and Network Security Engineer at Entec Group. Andy graduated from Staffordshire University in 1999.
