Iftekhar Showpnil, PhD, is a Bioinformatics Analyst at Nationwide Children's Hospital since April 2017, where research focuses on the EWS/FLI fusion transcription factor's role in Ewing sarcoma. As a PhD candidate, Iftekhar has conducted extensive research utilizing molecular biology, cell culture, and high-throughput sequencing techniques. Previous experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at Concordia University, where teaching and research involved training students and synthesizing nanoparticles.
