Sumit Ghosh

Sumit Ghosh, PhD, ASP, RBP, CSP, CPBCA, CBSP (ABSA), CHMM, serves as the Associate Director of Research Safety and Research Biosafety Officer at Nationwide Children's Hospital since January 2019. Prior to this role, Sumit held positions at the University of North Dakota from May 2015 to January 2019, including Adjunct Assistant Professor and Biological Safety Officer. Sumit's academic career began at North Dakota State University, where extensive research and teaching experience were gained as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Research Assistant from August 2007 to April 2015. Sumit earned a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from North Dakota State University between 2007 and 2012 and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology (Genetic Engineering) from Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Deemed University in 2007.
