Scott Bothwell

Scott Bothwell is a Pediatric Optometrist at Nationwide Vision, having started in July 2022. Previously, Scott completed a Clinical Internship at Family Optometry, where patient care focused on therapeutic lens prescriptions and working with children, including those with special needs. Scott's experience includes internships at EYE SPECIALISTS OF MID-FLORIDA and Southern College of Optometry, gaining skills in patient care for complex diseases, specialty contact lenses, and various clinical settings. Prior roles include Certified Ophthalmic Assistant at Sugiki Portis Eye Center and Optometric Technician at RIVIERA OPTICARE INC., where diagnostic tests were performed and patient education provided. Scott holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
