Pete Rothermel

Pete Rothermel serves as VP and CFO for both P&C Personal Lines Insurance and Individual Life Insurance at Nationwide since September 2004, providing leadership in finance and actuarial functions, pricing, reserving, and financial reporting. Previous roles include VP of Performance Management & Analysis overseeing a team of 105 for expense management and financial operations, and various AVP positions focused on regional finance, marketing financial operations, and distribution strategy, significantly contributing to strategic initiatives, financial modeling, and cost reductions. Additionally, Rothermel has taught finance as an adjunct professor at Franklin University and performed financial analyses during internships, holding an MBA in International Management with a focus on Corporate Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
