Sonya Brooks

Sonya Brooks is a dedicated behavioral health clinician with extensive experience in providing holistic guidance and clinical support, particularly for individuals in residential substance abuse treatment at Native American Connections since November 2014. Previously, Sonya contributed as a Community Research Aide at Arizona State University, focusing on refugee populations and issues related to domestic violence. Earlier roles also include an MSW internship at Native American Connections, delivering counseling and support for women in rehabilitation, and serving as a Victim Advocate at NATIVE HEALTH, where Sonya promoted awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault within Native communities. Sonya holds both a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Social Work from Arizona State University.
