America Meredith

America Meredith serves as a Board Member at the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation since September 2023 and has been the Publishing Editor for First American Art Magazine since January 2013, focusing on Native American art. As Associate Publisher at Noksi Press, America collaborates with Cherokee first-language speakers to create Cherokee language materials. A Visual Artist since 1995, America specializes in various mediums and works as a freelance curator. Previous roles include Guest Editor for the Santa Fe New Mexican's Legacy Magazine and Adjunct Instructor at both Santa Fe Community College and the Institute of American Indian Arts, teaching courses related to art history and gallery management. America holds an MFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute and multiple degrees in fine arts from other institutions.
