Katie McMahon has extensive work experience in the technology industry. In 2000, they worked as an Analyst at HIBERNIA CAPITAL PARTNERS LTD. Katie then served as the Director of Investor Relations & Special Projects at Japan Communications Inc. from 2000 to 2002. Following this, they founded and served as the CEO of Westport, a mobile data service company in Tokyo, Japan, until 2004. From 2004 to 2010, Katie held the position of Vice President, Business Development at Shazam. Katie then joined SoundHound Inc., where they worked as the Vice President & GM from 2010 to 2020. In 2020, they served as a Consultant at Snap Inc., working on various partnerships and projects. Katie's current work involves advisory and consultant roles at various early stage tech companies, including Neosensory, Native Voice, Valence Vibrations, NatureQuant, and Wia. Additionally, they are an Advisor at NatureQuant and the President & Chief Operating Officer at Native Voice, where they advise the CEO and executive team on successful product launches and partnerships.

Katie McMahon has a strong educational background with diverse fields of study. Katie pursued a Module degree in System Dynamics from the MIT Sloan School of Management, starting in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political & Social Thought from the University of Virginia. Additionally, they completed the Trium Module I program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), specializing in Business & Globalization.

Moreover, Katie McMahon has also obtained a certification in Women's Corporate Board Readiness from Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business in October 2020.
