Hannah Cirelli

Board Member at Natives Rising

Hannah Cirelli has a wealth of experience in human resources and diversity and inclusion. Hannah began their career in 2012 as an Operations Program Manager at the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). In this role, they were responsible for recruitment, personnel file management, employee orientation, and HRIS training. Hannah then worked as a Human Resources Specialist at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where they managed employee benefits administration for 1,300+ employees, conducted weekly New Hire Orientations, and innovated wellness initiatives. In 2015, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant at OrgScience, Inc. and then moved to The Atlantic in 2016, where they worked as a Human Resources Manager. In this role, they conducted weekly in-person onboarding training sessions, handled back-end Workday administration, and managed benefits administration for 1,000 employees. In 2017, they became the Internship Program Manager & Associate E.D. at American Indigenous Business Leaders (AIBL), where they led strategic fundraising activities, mentored and provided career counseling, and developed and launched the Corporate Partnership Program. Currently, they are a Cofounder & Community Officer at Natives Rising and a Diversity and Inclusion Business Partner at Uber. In this role, they collaborate with business leaders to define and drive diversity & inclusion action plans, analyzes data to help identify trends and gaps, and serves as a strategic advisor.

Hannah Cirelli obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Gender and Cultural Studies from The George Washington University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Global Affairs and Spanish from George Mason University between 2008 and 2012. In 2010, they also studied Advanced Spanish Language at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Additionally, Cirelli holds a Registered Organization Development Consultant (RODC) certification from the International Society for Organization Development and Change, which they obtained in October 2021. Hannah also has a Diversity and Inclusion for Human Resources Certificate from Cornell University, which they obtained in September 2021, as well as a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in October 2020.
