Richard A. Villalobos MD has substantial work experience in the medical field. RICHARD A. worked at Salinas Valley Radiologists, Inc. from 2000 to the present, holding the position of Radiologist and Partner. In this role, they were a full partner in the largest radiology practice in Monterey County, serving two hospitals and five imaging centers. RICHARD A. also served as the radiologist champion and project leader for implementing new technologies, including PACS with integrated peer-review and Voice Recognition Radiology Reporting. In 2014, they joined Natividad Medical Center as the Director of Medical Imaging.
Richard A. Villalobos MD obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from California State University, Fullerton in 1980. RICHARD A. then went on to receive their MD from the University of California, Irvine - College of Medicine in 1984. Following that, they completed an Internship in Pathologic Sciences at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center in 1985. From 1985 to 1989, they pursued a Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at UCI Medical Center and the VA Hospital in Long Beach, CA. In 1989, they furthered their education with a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the UCI Medical Center and Memorial Hospital in Long Beach. Additionally, they conducted studies in Radiology Pathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Walter Reid Hospital in Washington DC in 1987.
