Joseph O'Leary

Joseph O'Leary possesses extensive experience in international relations and government affairs, currently serving as a Senior Adviser in the Office of the Secretary General at NATO since June 2023. Prior roles include Political Counsellor at the British Embassy in Algiers from January 2020 to June 2023 and various leadership positions within the UK Ministry of Defence between October 2015 and January 2020, notably overseeing International Agreements and Human Security. Previous experience includes management at the Home Office focusing on security and counter-terrorism policies, as well as support roles in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Joseph O'Leary's educational background features a degree in Modern Languages from Lancaster University, alongside ongoing studies in Political Science at Università degli Studi di Cagliari and Linguistics at Universitat de Girona.
