Bijal Shah

Bijal Shah has worked in the laboratory field since 2006. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Laboratory Technician at Certified Laboratories, Inc., where they were responsible for GDP, GMP, and GLP procedures and protocol, aseptically performed sampling, plating, and testing of product daily, and collected and performed microbial testing for WFI, USP grade water, and Steam. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Microbiologist/QC Associate at Natren, Inc., where they prepared and issued formulas to production, analyzed raw materials and intermediate products at different stages of production including finished products and products from shelf, and provided technical guidance and solutions to production and issues related to raw materials/ingredients/in-process and finished products. From 2016 to present, they have worked as a Microbiology Laboratory Manager at Natren, Inc., where they supervise the Laboratory/Quality Assurance Department and plant in Drug Good Manufacturing Practices compliance, oversees the monitoring of production and packaging lines, shipping errors, and analysis of all finished products before release.

Bijal Shah holds a Master of Science (MS) in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from LIU Brooklyn, which they earned between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, they earned a master of science in Microbiology from Sardar Patel University between 2004 and 2006.
