Aaron Loar has over 20 years of experience in the IT field. Aaron began their career in 2000 as an IT Technician for various companies, including a contract, state, consulting, and startups. Later that year, they were an IT Intern for Sharegate. In 2010, they became a Computer Technician at the University of Nevada Reno. In 2012, they became a Firmware Engineer at Bally Technologies. In 2014, they were an Embedded Systems Engineer (R&D) for Consulting. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Software Engineer at ENGIE Storage (formerly Green Charge). Most recently, they have been a Senior Applications Engineer and Senior Embedded Systems Engineer at Natron Energy since 2019. In this role, they have led firmware and software development for 1U Battery Tray BMS, built software packages to interface with Tray, record data, and issue control and test commands, and launched 1U Battery Tray product, utilizing Sodium-Ion cells. Aaron has also supported UL Certification of 1U Battery Tray product, shipped v1.0 Sodium-Ion Battery Tray product, and led firmware upgrades and refactoring of Version 2.0 1U Battery Tray product. Additionally, they have provided technical support of end customers and their integration of the 1U Battery Tray, and built numerous utilities, both hardware and software, to support, diagnose, test, and qualify the Battery Tray product.

Aaron Loar obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2012. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Applied Sciences in Computer and Information Technology: Networking, MCSE Emphasis from TMCC between 2005 and 2011.
