Alicia Crawford began their career in 2008 as an Editorial Intern at the Carroll County Times. Alicia then moved on to become a Reporter for The Diamondback in 2009. In 2011, they were an Editorial Intern for USA TODAY and later that year was promoted to Elections Reporter. Alicia was then promoted again to Assistant Editor in 2011. In 2012, they left USA TODAY to become an Editor at the National Foreign Language Center. In 2015, they joined Potomac Conservancy as a Communications Associate and was promoted to Communications Manager and then Assistant Director of Communications. In 2018, they joined The Good Food Institute as a Strategic Communications Manager and a Communications Coordinator and Assistant. Finally, in 2021 they joined Natural Fiber Welding as their Digital Marketing Manager. During their time at Natural Fiber Welding, the team grew from 50 employees to over 250.
Alicia Crawford holds two Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degrees from the University of Maryland, one in Journalism and one in Theirtory.
