Rob Goldman has a long and varied career in finance, starting with their role as a Nuclear, Chemical, Biological Officer in the US Army from 1983 to 1987. Rob then joined IBM in 1987, where they held a range of roles including Financial Analyst, Marketing Representative, Controller for the Network Hardware Division, Business Officer for the Microelectronics Division, Logistics Manager for the Intel Server Platform, Special Bids Manager for the Netfinity (xSeries) product line, and Special Bids Manager for the Storage Products Division. In 2009, they moved to MEY Corporation as the CFO, where they established international accounting, banking and financial processes, and implemented a new IT platform and KPI program. From 2012 to 2020, they were with Ascom North America, first as CFO and then as President, where they implemented a new go-to-market strategy resulting in a 24% growth in sales in 2H 2018 and expanded the direct sales team to focus on additional verticals. Most recently, they have been the Chief Financial Officer of Natural Fiber Welding since 2020.
Rob Goldman obtained a BSBA in Finance/Accounting from Washington University in St. Louis from 1979 to 1983. Rob then went on to receive an MBA in Management from Austin Peay State University from 1985 to 1989. In 1998, they obtained a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification from the NC Board of CPA Examiners.
