John Spencer has over 20 years of professional work experience. John began their career in 1997 as a PC/LAN Technician and Service Manager at Computer Rescue. In 1999, they moved to Asiahaus Micro-Electronics Corp as a Systems Engineer/Administrator, where they trained personnel on the use of office products, scheduled and supervised technicians, and troubleshot and repaired customer PCs. In 2002, they joined TEKsystems as a Senior Deployment Lead/Technician, providing training, scheduling, and oversight of teams of technicians. In 2003, they moved to Procede Software (a subsidiary of MOSSY) as a Systems Administrator, where they administrated both a 50 node Windows 2000 domain and 800+ NT4.0 domain. In 2004, they joined Robert Half Technology as a Network/Systems Administrator, where they managed desktop helpdesk, email administration, and WAN connections to 8 remote sites. In 2006, they moved to CP Manufacturing, Inc. as a SYSTEMS ADMIN, where they supervised technical staff, negotiated contracts with vendors, and managed backups for all 9 sites. In 2011, they joined TEKsystems contracted to Carefusion as a Systems Administrator, assisting in migration/separation from Cardinalhealth. In 2014, they joined Natural Networks, Inc. as Manager of IT Services, where they were responsible for the day-to-day management of the helpdesk and up to 4 support agents. In 2020, they became an IT Services Project Manager at Natural Networks, Inc.

John Spencer obtained a Certificate in MCSE from New Horizons in 2001. John then completed a Certificate in Communication and Navigation Systems from Avionics Training USMC in 1983. John went on to attend El Capitan High School from 1981 to 1982. Finally, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking from Coleman College in 2015. In July 2022, they obtained a Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) Cert Prep: 1 Cloud Concepts certification from LinkedIn.
