Isabel Friedman is a Senior Program Coordinator at the Natural Resources Defense Council, focusing on state and local environmental policy for the New York regional team since October 2022. Prior to this role, Isabel served as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Morgan Stanley from June 2020 to August 2022 and was the Editor in Chief for the Duke University Journal of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from June 2021 to May 2022. As President of Duke & Durham Build, Isabel led efforts to support local Black-owned businesses through the Empower @ Duke fellowship program. Isabel also gained experience as an Acquisitions Intern at Hudson Pacific Properties in the summer of 2019. Isabel holds a double major in Computer Science and Philosophy from Duke University, where studies were completed in 2022, following education at Brentwood School from 2011 to 2018.
