Sara Imperiale

Sara Imperiale is a highly accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in environmental law and community lawyering. Sara currently serves as the Director of Community Lawyering at Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), where Sara previously held positions as Litigation Director in the Environment, Equity & Justice Center, Senior Attorney, Staff Attorney, and Legal Fellow. Sara is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at New York University School of Law and a Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School. Sara holds a Juris Doctor and Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law and Graduate School, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Muhlenberg College.
