Wei Wei

Wei Wei has a diverse work experience in the environmental and energy sectors. They started their career as a Project Geologist at XINCHAO ENERGY in 2014 and later became a Geologist and then a Project Manager. In 2019, Wei Wei joined HOPEC Petroleum Engineering Technology as a Project Manager, where they played a crucial role in the acquisition and management of an O&G asset. In 2020, they worked as a Methane Project Manager at the Environmental Defense Fund. Wei Wei then joined Kunlun Digital Technology Co., Ltd. in 2021 as a Senior Consultant, where they focused on energy conservation, emission reduction planning, and renewable energy implementation in the oil and gas industry. Currently, Wei Wei works as a Project Manager at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) since 2023.

WEI WEI completed their Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering from Central South University between 2007 and 2011. WEI then pursued a Master's degree in Geochemistry from China University of Petroleum, Beijing, from 2011 to 2014.

In 2019, WEI WEI attended German Language Training at Wiener Volkshochschulen(VHS) and later participated in the German Konversationsclub Intensiv B1 at Deutsch Akademie.

Recently, in 2020 and 2021, they enrolled in the MicroMasters Program in Sustainable Energy Capstone Assessment offered by The University of Queensland.

Furthermore, WEI WEI obtained additional certifications, including Learning Design for Sustainability from LinkedIn in April 2023, Project Management Professional (PMP®) from the Project Management Institute in August 2022, and The Complete Python Course from MOSH in July 2020.
