Associate Social Scientist at Natural Resources Institute

Catherine Mackenzie is an experienced independent consultant specializing in social science and biodiversity conservation, currently available for consultancies worldwide. Since July 2003, Catherine has undertaken various roles, including Associate Social Scientist at the Natural Resources Institute and independent consultant focused on biodiversity conservation with NIRAS-LTS International. Previous positions include social scientist roles at Landell Mills International and GFA Consulting Group GmbH, and consultancy work with organizations such as CARE/WWF Alliance and the International Centre for Environmental Management. Catherine has advanced degrees in social anthropology from the Australian National University, forestry and land management from the University of Oxford, and zoology from the University of Bristol.
