Caitlyn Tetterton

Caitlyn Tetterton serves as the Anchorage Education Director and Lead Risk Manager at Alaska Geographic since May 2021, responsible for planning and executing logistics for teen expeditions and teacher courses while ensuring effective risk management. With extensive experience in outdoor education, Caitlyn has held various roles including Program Coordinator and Naturalist at Naturalists At Large, managing complex logistics for outdoor programs and leading backcountry canoe trips as the Lower Colorado River Manager. Additional experience includes ski instruction at Alyeska Resort & The Hotel Alyeska and Mammoth Mountain, youth climbing coaching at Alaska Rock Gym, and guiding whitewater rafting and glacier tours at McCarthy River Tours & Outfitters. Caitlyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Outdoor Recreation & Education from Ohio University, earned in 2016.
