Marie Smidt

Marie Smidt is a Biological Process Specialist at Nature Energy since February 2023. Previously, Marie held the position of Production Support at Little Green Pharma Denmark from August 2020 to December 2022, where responsibilities included handling change requests, managing production deviations, releasing package inserts and product labels, testing and qualifying new equipment, and maintaining standard operating procedures. Marie has experience as a student assistant and intern at Nature Energy, which involved data collection, process monitoring, mass balance calculations, and creating SOPs. A background in horticulture was established as a worker at Gartneriet Kisø APS from 2008 to 2017 and as a pedagogical assistant at Vuggestuen Spiloppen in 2014-2015. Marie holds a Diplomingeniør degree in Chemical and Biotechnology from the University of Southern Denmark and completed an exchange semester in Biotechnology and Food Engineering at MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®.
