Povl Erik Røen

Povl Erik Røen currently serves as the Director of Operations for North East Denmark at Nature Energy, responsible for the management and optimization of biogas plants. Previously, Røen held the position of Operations Manager DK at Nature Energy, overseeing daily operations and maintenance. From 2017 to 2021, Røen worked as Site Director at Palsgaard A/S, managing a facility with approximately 120 employees, having also served as Factory Manager for a smaller section. Experience prior to this includes roles as Project Manager at Nordic Sugar and Maintenance- and Project Manager at AkzoNobel, where leadership of engineering and maintenance departments was essential. Røen's extensive career began in 1995 at Royal Greenland, progressing through various management and engineering roles in production and quality assurance. Røen holds a Master of Science in Business Systems from Aalborg University and a Bachelor's degree in Production from the University of Southern Denmark, along with additional qualifications in education and consultancy.
