Andrew Nowell

Andrew Nowell is an experienced press officer currently working with the Nature Friendly Farming Network since August 2023, focusing on securing media coverage for sustainable agricultural initiatives. Prior to this role, Andrew served as a reporter at ManchesterWorld from August 2021 to August 2023, contributing to the launch of a regional news website and covering a variety of topics including politics and the environment. Andrew's career in journalism began at the Wigan Evening Post, Wigan Observer, and Leigh Reporter, where a progression from junior to senior reporter involved extensive news and features writing, web uploading, and multimedia journalism. Andrew holds an NCTJ Diploma in Journalism from News Associates and advanced degrees in English from University College London.
