Laura Plant has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. Laura is currently working as a Business Development Director at NatureMetrics, where they collaborate with companies to assess their impact on nature using cutting-edge technology. Prior to this, Laura served as a Sustainability Consultancy - Senior Manager at PwC, assisting clients in understanding the social and environmental risks and opportunities associated with their operations. Laura also trained clients on the application of Natural Capital and Social Capital Protocols and developed impact valuation methodologies. Laura has previously worked as an Event Volunteer at POST, UK Parliament, and conducted research on sustainability in logging practices in the Amazon rainforest as part of their role in GREEN GOLD FORESTRY LTD. Laura also gained experience as a Scientific Officer at ADAS, where they evaluated biocontrols for crop diseases and conducted research on power station pollution effects. Additionally, Laura has worked as a Teacher at King's World Trust for Children and as a Land and Equine Manager at Wallaby Hill Farm.

Laura Plant earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, which they attended from 2009 to 2012. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Policy from the same university, completing it in 2013.
